North Wales Police have had a report of a bike and electric scooter have been stolen from a property in Flint. 

We are encouraging all local residents to consider the following security advice to reduce the chances of becoming victims of a similar crime. 

-Consider investing in CCTV for the property which covers all entry and exit points. 

-Consider purchasing security lighting which again covers all entry and exit points. 

-If you have a garage, consider purchasing a "garage door defender". 

-Consider purchasing an interactive door bell which can record all motion near the front door. 

-If you have a shed, consider using coach bolts to replace the factory standard screws. 

-Consider purchasing SmartWater to forensically mark all valuables with the property. This makes all marked property traceable back to the owner.
