Hello!

North Wales Police have received a report of an attempt theft of a motor vehicle from the Gwalchmai Holyhead area. This happened between 04/05 of April 2024.

We are encouraging all local residents to consider the following security advice.

-Physically check that your doors and windows are locked and closed when the vehicle is unoccupied.

-Ensure that no valuables are left in the vehicle if possible.

-Ensure that your vehicle is parked in a location which is covered by CCTV and security lighting.

-Consider parking your vehicle in a location which is off the main road, preferably on a drive way.

-Consider purchasing a steering wheel lock or wheel lock.

If you would like any further advice on vehicle safety then feel free to contact me on Community Alert or email – lee.monk@northwales.police.uk

Many thanks,
