🚓 5 persons have been arrested in the last 24, 3 of which are domestic related incidents and two for fail to appear warrants. One still in custody for the next court bus 👨🏿⚖️
🧐 No incidents likely to cause any community impact in the last 24h.
🐶 My information tidbit today was going to be about the introduction of police dogs, however I found this online and throught it was much more interesting.
"One of the first attempts to use dogs in policing was in 1889 by the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police of London, Sir Charles Warren. Warren's repeated failures at identifying and apprehending the serial killer Jack the Ripper had earned him much vilification from the press, including being denounced for not using bloodhounds to track the killer. He soon had two bloodhounds trained for the performance of a simple tracking test from the scene of another of the killer's crimes. The results were far from satisfactory, with one of the hounds biting the Commissioner and both dogs later running off, requiring a police search to find them"
💙 Today it's PD Arlo again, he got busy the other day in Colwyn Bay and found a male armed with an axe - Arlo found him still in possession of the Axe. Our PD's are equipped with stab vests for their safety and handlers ensure their safety. 🦮 My overtime shift today is specifically for Anti - Social Behaviour. So I'll be out and about as soon as my oppo arrives from another station - Have a wonderful evening, sta | ||||
