Remembrance Sunday

Good Evening All / Prynhawn da

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. (britishlegion.org.uk)

Many ceremonies will be held across the Flintshire North area providing an opportunity for our local communities to come together.

Our Local Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be supporting, participating and working alongside our partners during many of these events. I have included some information below regarding the Towns Events,

- Holywell Town: 10:30am Parade begins from Lidl car park to St Peters Parish Church, Service held at 10:45am. 11:45am Parade continues from St Peters Parish Church to Panton Place where a short service will take place.

- Connahs Quay Town: 10:45am Parade to begin outside of the swimming baths, travelling down Wepre Drive onto the high-street. A short service will take place at the memorial before continuing the march along Bridge Street and finishing at the Royal British Legion.

- Flint Town: 14:30 Parade begins from the legion, marching duke street, Chester Street, the main high-street through to the cenotaph along Chapel Street where a service will be held

Please check your local community boards, online pages, and/or social media for information surrounding other events being held not mentioned above.

Please be mindful that during these events there will likely be short delays on the roads due to road closures.

Lest we forget

Diolch yn fawr!
