Flintshire North Review

Good Morning Flintshire North ☁️

R3 and NPT are with you today. There's been 46 calls for service in the last 24 - this doesn't include calls relating to the weather so things like floods and trees down, which on a cursory investigation of the screen there were 200+ calls for across the force. - 8 of the non- weather calls were P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 8 x Domestic Incidents
🚑 1 x Concern For Safety Incident
✖️ 7 x Anti Social Behaviour Incidents

👮🏾‍♂️ 1 Arrest in the last 24 hours, that person is still with us in custody for breakfast. There's 7 people in Llay Custody and 7 people in St Asaph Custody.

🚓 19 Incidents came over to our system for a write up or investigation and 5 have been recorded as crimes so far.

🛠️ Runaway shed was not on my storm bingo card, however the response Sergeant came across some members of the public trying to corral a shed yesterday. We turfed out some officers to help while a lovely gent cut it up and it was safely removed from the traffic sign it had impaled itself on. It was workouts all round yesterday as officers were pulling trees off the road trying to keep everyone moving - We extend out gratitude to the overrun staff at the council and highways yesterday who managed a huge number of road closures, we're sure they'll be back out today.

🧐 No incidents we think will cause any community impact.

😀 For the information sharing today, something I imagine doesn't make much sense in the posts every morning - Why do some people stay overnight in custody and not others?

🪘 Most people need to be interviewed, this can't be done if you're unfit through drink or drugs so some people need a nap before they can be interviewed.

💤 Time of arrest, sometimes people are arrested in the very early hours, and it's better for their welfare that they are not kept up all night.

💻 Enquiries - Once arrested, we've got 24 hours with you (we can apply to the court for more, but this is mainly used for very serious offences) So enquiries can be completed while they're in custody.

👩🏼‍⚖️ Remand - Some people are remanded to appear at the next available court, there are a number of reasons this can happen. The most common is that they've breached a court order, so they're not leaving until they've been in front of the court. Where there is a serious offence and a risk to other persons, or a risk the suspect will disappear we can also ask for a remand.

💙 Today it's PD Bandit who's been busy locating class A & B drugs across the force! #TheNoseKnows 🐶

It's my last shift of the run today, I'll be making sure my ducks are in order 🦆 by that I mean any victims in investigations I have are updated, any emails have been actioned and my workload is up to date. Then I'll be out and about causing a nuisance! Have a Wonderful Day, Stay Safe - 3604.
