Flintshire North Review

Good Morning Flintshire North ❄️

R4 and NPT are with you this morning - 58 calls for service in the last 24h, 12 of which were P0 🚨  (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 6 x Domestic Incidents
🚑 4 x Concern for Safety Incidents
✖️ 3 x Anti Social Behaviour Incidents

👮🏿‍♂️ 3 arrests in last 24 hours, 2 with us for a full english this morning. One in for a breach of the peace, one for a domestic assault, another for drug driving and domestic offences from a wanted marker.

🚓 38 incidents came over to our system for a write up and 7 have been recorded as crimes so far.

❗ What's a wanted marker I hear you ask?
⁉️ When we suspect someone of a crime, and we can't get hold of them, sometimes because they've disappeared out of our force area,  we'll complete a wanted file. That means we'll collate everything we have so that if the person is found they can be interviewed. It means if an officer runs their name they'll know to arrest.
⁉️ There's other Wanted markers - things like people who've failed to appear in court, or have broken certain orders. Those markers mean we take the person straight to court rather than custody.

🖋️ There's other markers we can place "on" people and cars - but that's a post for another day!

🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 NPT were out with housing yesterday conducting joint visits with persons who are not being very neighbourly 😒 We've identified one family causing a lot of grief to their local area and so the information is being collated and sent to our ASB officer so we can orders in place to try and get these persons acting a bit more community minded!

👮🏼‍♀️ Response officers were busy picking up new investigations and completing enquiries for ones they already have. Completing case files is a common reason to have officers stuck behind desks a LOT of documents are required for a file to get it to our colleagues in the Crown Prosecution Service again a post for another day I think!

💙 Not one for sitting behind a desk, PD Sparky was busy yesterday when two males made off from a stolen vehicle in Widnes. One jumped on the roof of a car to get away from Sparky's toothy hugs and the other was detained by RCU officers. Next time, please give the dog a boost onto the car roof - also if you are criminal minded, be aware that height won't always save you. PD Guiness who has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge now, took a running leap at a suspect trying to jump over a railway fence. That suspect is now missing a Guiness sized mouthful 🍑  #JawsOfJustice 🐶

👩🏼‍🍼 NPT can sometimes feel like being a babysitter, I have a couple of demand nominals who are causing issues daily - I recently arrested both for a number of offences and they've been charged. They've hit our screen again today so I'll be dealing with them this morning before heading out on patrol.  Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe 3604.
