Flintshire North Review

Good Morning Flintshire North! ๐ŸŒ…

R1 and NPT are with you today. It's a big weekend review - 104 calls for service since Friday at 17:00 - 22 of which were P0! ๐Ÿšจ (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

๐Ÿก 5 x Domestic Incidents
๐Ÿš‘ 14 x Concern For Safety Incidents
โœ–๏ธ 8 x Anti Social Behaviour Incidents

๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ There's been 8 arrests, with 2 currently in Chรขteau du garde ร  vue (Custody) 2 for domestic related offences one of those was also a drink driver. Our other guests were in for, burglary, stalking, drunk and disorderly, breach of criminal behaviour order and threats to kill.

๐Ÿš“ 53 incidents came over to our system for a write up with 26 recorded as crimes (So far)

๐Ÿ  Burglary is a top priority for NWP. We recently had a spate of "Burglary other than a dwelling" this covers things like garages and sheds. It's awful for the victims and can cause a lot of distress. Over the weekend two more BOTD's were reported, however thanks to members of the public coming forward and CCTV a suspect has been identified and has been arrested. CSI attended our last spate of these incidents and we now await return on any evidence they found to see if we can link a person via DNA / Fingerprints or even shoe prints. These incidents have been in the Greenfield, Holywell area.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ It is often tools and garden equipment which is stolen during these incidents, if you are offered tools or see some for sale which look like they're a bit too low priced or have serial numbers removed/ damaged. Please report this to us, as it may help us identify offenders.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Following these incidents our We Don't Buy Crime team will visit affected persons and the general area and offer packs - within those packs is a Smart Water identification kit - with this you can mark any property, and that mark can be forensically analysed so if you're items are stolen and recovered they can be returned to you. This also assists the police in identifying stolen property and any suspects.

๐ŸถToday, it's PD Flo who was busy last week collecting up the rubbish after a male made off from a domestic and hid behind some bins. #TheNoseKnows ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸงI'm returning to duty today after being away for some training and some sneaky leave - You may have seen Sgt Smith's update/review we're hoping over the next few weeks to keep the updates flowing even when I'm not in. Little bit of admin catch up this morning then I'll be out and about being a nuisance. Have a Wonderful Day - Stay Safe, 3604.
