Over the next few weeks, my schools police colleagues and I will be delivering advice on the dangers of sexting, or “sending nudes”, the common terms used for the taking and distributing of indecent images of children. Last week and this week, I have been delivering the “No Means No” lesson around consent to year 9 students at Rhyl High School, This lesson covers a number of consent related matters including sexting, what it is, and what the law states around such offences.

Please do engage with your children around this topic in order to ensure they are aware of such dangers.
