On the evening of Wednesday 15th January a vehicle was broken into on Brandy Brook, Johnstown.

If you witnessed anything suspicious that evening that can help the police in identifying the persons responsible.

Here is some security advice so you don't become a victim too.

1. Always lock it.

2. Close windows and the sunroof.

3. Secure anything that’s on the outside of your vehicle.

4. Take it with you or hide it.

5. Hide electrical items and leave no clues.

6. Tool theft from vans- Empty the van of tools.

7. Park in well-lit and busier areas.

8. Take your documents with you- Driving licence/insurance etc.
