Police are appealing for information  following  instances   of  criminal damage to the  Historic Old Bridge Llanelltyd , near Dolgellau  which dates  back  over  two  hundred years . Sometime  since    Saturday 1st March 2025  unidentified person(s)  have intentionally damaged  the  bridge by dislodging a number of large stones on the bridge wall which  they  have then   thrown  into the  river Mawddach below 

Police are currently  investigating and anyone with any information is   requested to contact the police  by phoning  and 101 quoting crime no 25000175459 or anonymously via crime stoppers on  0800 555111 .
