Good morning Resident

You may or may not have had a message yesterday regarding deaf males knocking on people's doors, selling artwork - the previous message was asking residents to report it to us and advise if they had CCTV.

I can now confirm we have spoken to the male and obtained all the necessary details to pass onto trading standards.

My advice going forward now is that you do not need to report to us if this male / males knock on your door. If you do not wish to purchase items from them please politely decline. If the male does become difficult or aggressive then of course report to us, but by all accounts the male has been polite and has left properties when told purchases wouldn't be made.
