Good Morning Flintshire North 🌧️
R3 and NPT are with you today, in the last 24h there's been 46 calls for service, 11 of which were P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens) 🏠 7 x Domestic Incidents
🚔 5 arrests in the last 24, with two still in the traps. 2 for the possession with intent to sell job we mentioned yesterday, 1 for the failing to provide we mentioned yesterday, and two for assaults both domestic violence related.
👮🏽♀️ 22 incidents came over to our system for a write up, and 4 have been recorded as crimes (so far!)
🧐 No incidents we believe are likely to cause any community impact.
🍹 What's failing to provide then? The road traffic act provides a power to officers to make a request for a sample of breath at the roadside, if they have reasonable cause to suspect the person may be under the influence (the legislation is more nuanced than that, an if you fancy some light reading https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/52/section/6/1992-04-01 )
🚗 Failing to provide, simply put, will get you the same punishment as being over. You can expect an obligatory driving ban amongst other things.
🐶 Today, it's not a PD. It's Spyder who is a lovely chap looking for his forever home in a local rescue. I am very lucky to have the time to help when I can at a local rescue, and this lad is so handsome - and I know you're all here for the dog pictures. 😍
Straight out the door again this morning, it's the last shift of my run so I'll need to sit down at some point and make sure I'm all up to date - and prepare the file for the fail to provide! Have a Wonderful Day, Stay Safe - 3604 | ||||
