Flintshire North Review

Good Morning Flintshire North 🌞

R4 and NPT are with you again today. 58 calls for service in the last 24h, 7 of which were P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 3 x Domestic Crime Incidents
🚑 1 x Concern For Safety Incident
✖️ 4 x Anti Social Behaviour Incident

🚔 2 in custody this morning for a Burglary other than a dwelling in the Connah's Quay area, the victim has caught them in the act and a prompt response from officers has located both parties involved. This understandably may cause some concern in the local area, both parties involved are known to us, and as such we'll be seeking a remand in custody.

👮🏿‍♂️46 Incidents came over to our system for a write up, and 16 recorded as crimes ( so far)

✖️ Enquiries are continuing into the vandalism of the police car in Holywell, which with a bit of elbow grease we were able to clean and put back into service to prevent any incidents not being answered due to a lack of fleet.

🧐 NPT were successful yesterday with Wagtail conducting searches in the College with a drug dog. The dogs provided by Wagtail are different to police dogs, they are passive drug dogs which means they're able to detect it on  people walking passed. Whereas our dogs search addresses and areas.

💙 Speaking of dogs, RPD Mikko is deservedly getting his paws up in retirement. He is supported by Paws Off Duty, the charity supports handlers and their dogs after retirement as they are not supported by their force - it was founded by our very own dog handler PC Edwards! 🐶

🥸 I wanted to go out and be a nuisance today, however I'll now be knuckling down to prepare the remand! Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe -3604.
