I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently gauging public support for a community clean-up initiative and would love to hear your thoughts.

The idea is simple: bring members of our community together for a day of litter picking and tidying up our shared spaces. I believe that when an area looks clean and cared for, it fosters pride and reduces the likelihood of crime and anti-social behaviour, something echoed in the Broken Windows Theory.

Some people will ask why the police are involved in this type of initiative. While it's true that our primary focus is crime prevention and public safety, community engagement projects like this can also contribute to long-term crime reduction by improving the environment and building stronger communities.
