Good Morning Flintshire North π»
R2 and NPT with you today. 50 calls for service in last 24 hours - 6 of which were P0 π¨ (attended on lights & Sirens) π‘ 6 x Domestic Incidents
π 4 arrests in the last 24hr. β 2 are in the traps for burglary after being found inside an address thanks to a vigilant CCTV monitor. π 1 for public order and theft offences. βοΈ 1 for (not domestic related) common assault.
π» 26 incidents came over to our screen for a write up, and 8 have been recorded as crimes so far.
π We have this morning received a report of a vehicle theft from outside a property, officers will be attending to gather all the information shortly - If you or your family members have a vehicle which uses keyless entry it can be targeted for theft. This can be prevented by keeping your keys in a faraday box or by using a steering wheel lock.
βοΈ In relation to car thefts, we're often told off for "bothering" people about their number plates. Where we ticket for non compliance with British standards - often those using false plates are using non compliant plates - because to get compliant plates you normally need a V5. So it can be a give away that a car is stolen or on false plates.
π Between the burglary and the car theft, this can all be very concerning for the community, we will have continued high visibility patrols.
πToday it's PD Reggie, who following an RTC (in Cheshire) was deployed to track down the driver. They tried to escape across fields, but once they heard Reggie, they didn't fancy running anymore πΆ
π First task of the day done (brief on any incidents, update socials and community alert) I'm out the door to be a nuisance. Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe - 3604. | ||||
