I hope you all had an enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend.

First and foremost, my thoughts are with those directly affected by the devastating incident in Liverpool yesterday. As an Evertonian, I want to say that in times like this, football rivalries mean nothing. During this incredibly difficult time, my thoughts are with everyone directly impacted, the wider community and my emergency service colleagues that attended.

In response, I’ll be repurposing one of my upcoming charity football matches to help raise funds for those impacted. It’s been a busy weekend here in North Flintshire . Since Saturday morning, we’ve received 167 calls.

8 people were arrested for offences including assaults, drink driving, and breach of court orders. 2 individuals remain in custody.

We also dealt with two missing person reports, both have thankfully been found safe and well.

Other incidents included domestic assaults, criminal damage, public order offences, and thefts.
