Rota 4 and NPT are with you today, it looks prime to be another scorcher. In the last 24h we've had 55 calls for service with 13 P0's 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 4 x Domestic Incidents 
🚑 6 x Concern For Safety
✖️ 3 x Anti Social Behaviour

🚔 2 arrests in the last 24h both still in custody for a continental breakfast. 1 for assault, and another for offences against the sexual offences act 2003.

👮🏼 36 incidents came over to our screen for a write up, with 7 recorded as crimes so far. From a brief overview there's several breaches of the averages on the A494 and other traffic offences recorded by officers.

📱As a reminder, the law on mobile phones did change which meant you do not need to be "communicating" anymore - the phone only needs to be in your hand. 6 points and a £200 fine is the prize for this offence.

☀️ Something we unfortunately deal with every year, is dogs left in hot cars. In high temperatures they can quickly become severely distressed and unwell, and you'll very likely end up with a broken window and charges for causing unnecessary suffering if your animal is found to be in distress. We've got a serious soft spot for dogs in this district, with many strays found loitering around the parade rooms - one stray was lucky enough to be rehomed by an officer after nobody claimed him from the pound - So we don't take these offences lightly.

🚔 You'll be seeing officers out and about on patrol during our core times, there's no shorts and tshirt for us we'll be carrying 8-10kg of gear in a car where the air con is probably blowing hot air so give us a wave 👋  it always cheers us up!

🐶 Today it's PD Logan who was papped on a firearms exercise, as he is firearms support dog! 💙

🕶️ All caught up on paperwork and after a training day yesterday I'm ready to get out and cause a nuisance, there has been a slight pause on my brand of FN updates and in the interest of honesty and integrity (our core values) this was because I was wrapped up in a policy issue regarding a photo I posted, and threw my toys out of the pram about it 😂 Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe - 3604.
