Flintshire North Review

Good Morning Flintshire North!

R2 and NPT are with you today. 51 Calls for service in the last 24, 5 of which were P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 9 x Domestic Incidents
🚑 0 Concern for Safety Incidents
✖️ 2 x Anti Social Behaviour Incidents

🚔 7 arrests in the last 24 hours, with 4 still in for brekkie. 🏡 5 in for Domestic related offences - 3 assaults, 1 harassment and 1 stalking. 🧑🏻‍⚖️ 1 for a warrant 🌳 1 for environmental offences.

👮🏽‍♂️ 28 Incidents have come over to our system for a write up and 8 have been recorded as crimes so far.

⁉️ What's the difference then, between harassment and stalking? Ultimately if you're being stalked you are being harassed, but if you're being harassed you're not necessarily being stalked. The perpetrator following or turning up where they shouldn't be is a big indicator.

🧑🏻‍⚖️ CPS decide on the facts of the case if it's harassment or stalking, and there are also difference offences depending on if it's with / without fear of violence and that changes the sentencing guidelines.

🏡 Stalking and harassment behaviours are Fixated, Obsessive, Unwanted & Repeated. It doesn't have to be domestic related but we do tend to deal with more domestic related instances. For either offence there needs to be a "course of conduct" so it needs to happen more than once.

💙 Today it's Retired PD Otis who's celebrated his 11th birthday a couple of days ago!🐶

🏃‍♀️ My admin is all in order, so it's briefing then straight out the door today to be a nuisance (to crims) Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe - 3604.
